Here at St Anne's we are in the process of ending our stay in this parish. We have been here for three years and it is with deep regret and sadness we leave the wonderful people of Dennistoun and Glasgow. We have bonded with the Parishoners of St Anne's and we cherish them very much. They will be sorry to see us depart and we will be so sorry to leave. We are happy that the parish will continue as a 'living chapel' and that Fr Billy McMahon will reside here at the parish house and continue the Sacramental and Prayer Ministry with the people. This gives us some much needed comfort. We expect to leave here in mid August and journey variously, to Oxford, Avila and Loughrea. We pray that our new appointments will bring much needed help to our new communities and hope that some day, we might be able to return here to the 'Town we have grown, to Love So Well'
We rejoice with the Hope we all have in God on the occasion of the Solemn Profession of Brothers Noel and Robert. We will celebrate and rejoice with them in St Teresa's and all over the province on the Feast of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Thank God for giving us these splendid Carmelites and thank God also for the renewed hope they bring. We also rejoice with news of life in the Noviciate at Oxford once again. Frs Livinus, Raphael and Michael Fitzgerald are rooting for us in heaven. Alleluia! We wish them all the very best and God's many Blessings.
As Summer hots up, we hope all the friars will feel moved to take a rest and return renewed and ready for service with the Lord of the Harvest. God Bless. Fr. Willie Moran OCD
